Two more Labour MPs standing by referendum pledge
Two further Labour MPs - Jon Cruddas (Dagenham) and John Cummings (Easington) - are standing by their election promises to support a referendum on the EU Constitution treaty.
In letters to constituents, John Cummings said: "I remain convinced that there should be a referendum" and Jon Cruddas said: "On balance I think it [the Lisbon Treaty] is significant enough to warrant a referendum."
